TIA is working to secure adequate and consistent funding for Tennessee’s current and future infrastructure needs.  Our current focus is on:

  • Protecting current infrastructure funding.

  • Restoring funds intended for infrastructure that have been diverted to other purposes.

  • Improving Tennessee’s transportation infrastructure, including airports, dams and locks, navigable waterways, rail, roads, highways and bridges.

  • Improving Tennessee’s mass transit infrastructure.

  • Improving Tennessee’s water and sewer infrastructure.

The Tennessee Infrastructure Alliance is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing infrastructure needs in Tennessee in order to enhance and promote economic development, safety and quality of life by:

  • Serving as an umbrella organization and advocate for adequate and consistent funding for Tennessee' s infrastructure needs.
  • Coordinating public, business and government interests.
  • Focusing on multi-modal and infrastructure areas of focus, including roads, highway and bridges; water and sewer; airports and aviation; transit; rail; navigable waterways; ports, dams and locks.
  • Advocating at the local, state and federal levels.

TIA is presently working to add members and participants, with active engagement with policy makers.
